  Candidates who sat for the ongoing UTME Examination today 29th February, 2016 are expected to have received their results via sms as JAMB had announced earlier.

However, we understand that this result which is to be sent via sms is just a graphical representation of a candidate's performance in the examination and not the actual score of such candidate. The actual score of each candidate will be made available on JAMB portal in due course.

The 2016 UTME results is now available on JAMB portal.

JAMB Commences 2016/2017 Registration and Selling of CBT Form!

Using this platform of educational, I want to formally inform all the National Nigeria students who want to sit for the Joint Admission Matriculation Board and Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination that the 2016/2017 Registration and selling of forms has commence!

The board’s Head of Information, Dr Fabian Benjamin in statement today in Lagos made this known to the public. He however, gave the necessary dates, which includes the commence date, the closing date for selling of forms, the examination date etc.

And also, we will not excludes all the this information or keep it away from you, today, we will make everything very clear to you. We will make the form of payment clear and the amount fixed for the selling of forms.



However, the decision of the board to make the form available now is to prepare candidates early for the 2016 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

Today, the Head of Information, Dr Fabian Benjamin has declare the already scheduled date. Against all odds, the JAMB 2016/2017 Registration and selling of Forms has been schedule to begin on the 31st of August, 2015.

This is indeed a very vital information. Unlike, last year the amount for Jamb 2015/2016 registration and buying of forms was N4,500 but due to some unknown reason, maybe fuel, dollar or so, it has been increased by addition of N500.

New JAMB Registrar Has Been Appointed

REGISTRAR of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, Professor Dibu Ojerinde, has been reappointed for another term of five years. The President’s approval was conveyed to the JAMB Registrar by the Minister of Education, Professor Ruqayyatu Ahmed Rufa’i.

She noted that the tenure takes effect from April 10, 2012. Prof. Rufa’i called on the registrar to rededicate himself to the success of the Transformation Agenda of the President and sustain the good work and reforms going on in the examination body.

Ojerinde said after receiving the appointment letter that he was excited and could not believe it and assured of his commitment to achieve more in JAMB in the years ahead.
